A vintage Popeye book for children from the 1940s. Published in 1945 by King Features, the book is illustrated by Sagendorf and animated by Julian Wehr, as listed on the cover. the 8.25"x9" book has 24 pages of text and illustrations featuring Popeye and his friends including Olive Oyl, Wimpy, and Sweet Pea. Four pages are designed with parts that move with a tab in the lower right corner. The book is in very good condition for its age with some areas of discoloration and staining on the cover, minor discoloration and edge wear to the pages, and light wear to the plastic binding.
