An original production background from the Filmation Studios animated series,"The Batman/Superman Hour" (1968-1969). Featuring a vivid tree line and cityscape, the hand-painted background was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the episode entitled, "Rain of Iron" which aired on October 5, 1968. Measuring 10.5"x39.5" overall, with the image itself measuring 9.75"x38.5", the background is in very good condition with minor edge and surface wear.
