An original production background from the Filmation Studios animated series, "The Superman/ Aquaman Hour of Adventure" (1967-1968). Featuring a beautiful and uniquely colored mountainous landscape, the hand-painted background was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the episode entitled, "The Cage of Glass" which aired on October 14, 1967. Measuring 10.5"x39.25" overall, the background is in good condition with some scratching and surface wear visible on the painted surface.
