1940s Snow White Ceramic Planter by Leeds - ID: aprleeds22052

A vintage ceramic figural planter inspired by the enduring Disney Studios animated classic, "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" (1937). Featuring the first ever Disney Princess, Snow White, the planter was manufactured by Leeds China. The design of Snow White was similarly used in other figurines by Leeds in the late 1940s, and this style of planter was also seen in Cinderella planters from the 1950s. Measuring 5.75"x3.25" and 6.25" tall, the planter is in very good condition with some crazing and light wear from age. Leeds had a license to produce Disney Ceramics from 1944 to 1954 and often produced ceramics with unique glazing techniques and color palettes.
