A souvenir medallion created to commemorate the Grand Opening of Walt Disney World in 1971. Featuring imagery of Mickey Mouse on the front, the reverse presents a unique Walt Disney World image created for the medallion. This piece was a VIP gift at the opening of Walt Disney World, and each medallion is individually numbered. The piece is stylishly displayed encased in lucite. Measuring 4"x4" and 1" thick, the souvenir is in very good condition with light scuffs to the lucite.
